When a pet has to cross the rainbow bridge, we know how difficult that can be.

We use Trusted Journey for our cremation services. Trusted Journey picks up your pet directly from us and does the cremation services themselves. If you have chosen private cremation or to get a clay paw print, they will bring your pet’s urn or clay paw print back to our hospital for you to pick up with us. Private cremation provides you with the opportunity to keep your pet’s cremated remains as a permanent and personal keepsake. When you choose private cremation, your treasured pet will be the only pet in the cremation chamber during the cremation process. When the cremation is complete, Trusted Journey ensures that you receive only the cremated remains of your pet. 

In celebrating the lives of pets that have been lost, Trusted Journey is officially announcing that the Plainfield location is restoring their 16+ acres of natural prairie grasses and wildflowers to a memorial prairie garden where pet parents will be able to visit and remember their pets. All pet cremains that have been communally cremated will be scattered at this location bringing nutrients for the grasses, flowers, and wildlife to bring new life to our Prairie State.
